Of course, if your friend or family member is ill with some sickness, this may not be the best choice, unless they can exercise restraint and not eat much of the candy! Giving cards as get well gifts shows that you care enough to have the sick or injured person on your mind. You can purchase a card with some sort of get well wishes already written, or you can purchase a blank card and write in your own message. You can also buy cards that have a lighter side, with jokes and witty remarks. These especially can help bring a smile to a sick or injured family member or friend.
